Manu National Park Tour: 4D/3N Amazon Experience from Cusco
Manu National Park, is one of the most biodiverse places on Earth and a true jewel of the Peruvian Amazon. Declared a UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve in 1977, Manu protects an extraordinary variety of ecosystems ranging from the cloud forest at high elevations (over 4,000 meters above sea level) to the lowland Amazon rainforest. This protected area is home to more than 1,000 species of birds—including the iconic Cock of the Rock, Peru’s national bird—as well as macaws, parrots, frogs, insects, orchids, and hundreds of mammal species.
This 4-day Manu Jungle Experience, departing from Cusco, offers an immersive Amazon experience through the Manu Cultural and Reserved Zones. Traveling deep into the Manu Amazon, you will explore pristine jungle landscapes; visit the famous parrot clay lick; glide along the rivers by raft; and discover hidden ecosystems such as Machuwasi Lake, where caimans, monkeys, and colorful birds thrive.
You will spend the night in a comfortable jungle lodge, surrounded by nature. Guided walks through the rainforest will reveal orchids, medicinal plants, and fascinating wildlife, while a night walk gives you the chance to observe nocturnal species such as frogs, insects, and other jungle creatures.
